Our bias binding is sold by the metre. Enter the metre quantity required and we will cut it in one continuous piece. Application is easiest with a 2-pass method. First open your bias binding up on the right hand edge and stitch just inside the fold line. Then fold your binding over to the other side of your work and topstitch, making sure the folded edge of the binding covers your first stitch line.
Our bias binding is cut at 38mm then single-folded to a measurement of 19mm. Sometimes the bias can stretch a bit, making the strip as narrow as 16mm but this doesn't affect the useability; it just means a slightly more petite edging. The finished bias measurement is between 8-9mm depending on how much you stretch it on application.
Ideal as an edging on muslin wipes and wraps. Use as a contrasting feature on necklines, ruffle edges and pockets or have as a special hidden detail on inside seams and a for bias-faced hems, creating a unique finish to your garments.
